A Special Afternoon at Peterbilt Atlantic
At Peterbilt Atlantic, we’re proud to represent more than just trucks—we represent memories, milestones, and moments that matter. Recently, our Dartmouth team had the privilege of creating one of those unforgettable experiences for a lifelong truck enthusiast.
With the help of Salesperson Mitch Maxwell and Branch Manager James Teed, Deanne Grove arranged a heartwarming surprise for her 93-year-old father, Fred Grove. Fred is a retired truck driver who often shares stories from his years on the road, always with a sparkle in his eye and a fondness for the Peterbilt brand.
Knowing her father’s admiration for Peterbilt, Deanne reached out to our Dartmouth team to make his wish come true. Together, they planned an afternoon that Fred would never forget: the chance to once again climb behind the wheel of a brand-new Peterbilt.
When Fred was greeted with the gleaming sight of a Peterbilt truck waiting for him. The excitement on his face was undeniable. But the moment that truly captured everyone’s hearts was when Mitch invited him to slide into the driver’s seat. With his hands on the wheel and a wide smile, Fred exclaimed: “I’m home!”
For Fred, that moment was more than just sitting in a truck—it was a return to the life he loved and the brand he always admired. For us, it was a reminder of why we do what we do: to serve the people who keep the trucking spirit alive across generations.
To Fred and Deanne, we extend our heartfelt thanks for allowing us to be part of such a special day. Drivers like Fred inspire us every day, and we’re proud to share the road with them.
